Carlos R. Vela, CPA

Carlos was formally trained in audit and assurance at KPMG LLP, and has approximately 13+ years of professional experience in audit, tax, and operational accounting. Additionally, he is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of California and has helped various clients throughout the San Francisco Bay Area.

In 2018, seeing the growth of the industry across the U.S. in both medical and recreational cannabis, Carlos decided to dedicate himself to becoming an expert in Cannabis accounting. Whether its navigating the complex tax regulations, accounting for Cost of Goods Sold under the full absorption method, or performing end-to-end operational accounting, Carlos and his team have the experience and knowledge to help transform your finance function into a world-class operation.
